At GetStaffedUK we work with a wide variety of people. From young people who are at college, to individuals who have worked within the industry for decades. This takes a few different management styles! We work towards a leading from the front management style and we ensure we wouldn’t ask our Go-Getters to do things that we wouldn’t do ourselves, and that’s why we are a family!
Our Leadership Principles are:
• LEAD BY EXAMPLE
• DELIVER THE BEST
• DEVELOP FROM
• INDUSTRY PASSIONATE
• SEE, UNDERSTAND, CORRECT, IMPROVE
• FOCUS ON LEADING PEOPLE NOT YOURSELF
• INCORPORATE COMPANY VALUES INTO EVERY ACTION
Each of our managers thoroughly understands these values, and whilst they all have their own individual styles of approaching their shift and employees, they all refer back to these to ensure that our company management is streamlined and focussed on our employees, who are the heart of everything we do!
Every individual requires a different management style, whether it’s due to their personality, previous experience or other influences in their life.
With so many different leadership styles documented, it’s hard to figure out which path you want to take when leading a team. When managing people within our office, we know each individual responds differently to different methods of management.
We’d recommend having a look at some of the following sites to try and understand your personal leadership style best, as well as looking at areas which you would like to adapt and improve.
Personally, I’m attracted to Transformational Leadership*, and think that is a brilliant way to work with your team. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it would work for everyone within a group of people, you also need to consider how individuals respond to your leadership style.
Take a look at the following:

Transformational leaders have integrity and high emotional intelligence. They motivate people with a shared vision of the future, and they communicate well. They’re also typically self-aware, authentic, empathetic, and humble.
